You are welcome to my coming workshop in oil pastels. I will talk about the brands of oil pastels, the technique and possible supports. I will also show a two hour demo of painting a landscape with oil pastels with a focus on underpainting colors and further balancing of colors in a landscape. Student are welcoe to bring their own oil pastel sets and work from reference photos after the demo. I will give help and advice during their own work. The workshop will take place in For Arts Sake gallery in Henrico, Va. To sign up please contact Diane Robinson at diane@forartssakegallery.com. The fee is $80 per person.

Students are encouraged to bring their own oil pastel sets, oil pastel paper or cardboard of any size they feel comfortable with, the turpentine, brushes and a light folding easel for their own work from reference photos.
