DANA BROWN IS ALL AROUND
Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis

I had the pleasure of visiting with the team at Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis and learning more about their impact on our community. The mission of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis is to serve, support, and celebrate the lives of all individuals with Down syndrome and their families, through every stage of life.

The Dana Brown Charitable Trust has supported this organization for many years. The grant in Spring 2022 enabled DSAGSL to serve approximately 250 children with Down syndrome and their families. This included welcoming 44 babies with Down syndrome through their New Family Support program and reaching over 150 families through their New Mother's Luncheon, New Family Brunch, and Holiday Party. In addition, DSAGSL supported eight community groups throughout the St. Louis region and provided developmental and educational information by mail to 238 families through their Ages and Stages program.

They have some exciting events coming up, so if you’re interested in getting involved with this incredible DBCT-backed organization, check out their Calendar of Events!

This month, we suggest grabbing a healthy snack, cracking open a book, and getting out in nature! Of course, we also hope you decide to support these incredible organizations.
