Hive inspection and mite testing this Saturday!

Temperatures are looking much better this weekend!  This Saturday, August 6th at 10:30AM I will be up at the FLC performing inspections on all 3 hives and doing the ‘alcohol” version of mite testing.  During the inspections I plan on assessing each queen and getting the hives prepared to head into fall and winter. 

Items to Bring

1. Suit or Veil
2. Closed toed shoes
3. Long sleeves (if just in a veil) and pants
4. Water
5. Optional: gloves, hive tool and smoker.

Please be advised before we enter the hives you will be required to review a Waiver and Assumption of Risks Agreement and I will have you sign an associated signature page limiting the TVBC and City of Boise liability at the FLC during hive inspections.
