Welcome to the many new members who have taken part in our first two events. We had nearly 100 along last weekend - despite 20 or more members away at other events around the country

This weekend 15th April
Venue: 1831a SH3, Awahuri - look outfor the yellow and black sign at the gate
Time: racing starts at 1:30pm
Format: open handicap. For those that have taken part in a race so far this season you will have a pre-assigned start time. The first person will be off "go", then various start times relative to that. The handicappers will have a chart available at the start line. Note your time for starting and keep an eye on the clock so you are start a minute or so in advance.
If your name isn't on the chart the handicappers will assign a start time for you
Volunteers required: We need 3-4 people to assist with giving out finishing tags and recording names this Saturday. If you are not running/walking please see Bruce Mulcock to make yourself available.
Girls/Boys 7-13 year: 3.2km (one lap)
Juniors 14-19: 6.4km
We have a batch of new singlets currently in production. There are plenty of kids 10 and 12's available for now but we are short of larger sizes.
If paying direct to the Feilding Moa account just a reminder to still fill out the membership form and email it to the club treasurer Debra Arnold
ANZAC Day Relay
On Tuesday 25th April we will be entering teams in these relays. It is a 4 person team with 2km each. Venue is Scoutlands, Lake Wiritoa, near Wanganui. The Club Calendar for that date has a location map.
There is also a popular 2-person Walk Relay. Clubs from Palmerston North to New Plymouth can be expected to take part. It's been a few years since a Feilding Moa team took out one of the top trophies but I have a good feeling about this year. I encourage all members to make themselves available.
Please email your expression of interest to be in a team as soon as possible to: Rob Dabb
Wednesday pack run: 6pm from M&J Shoes, Kimbolton Rd. Just a reminder, a pack run = run together. It's not a race. Pace should be one where you can still talk (and tell a joke).
