A message from Tom Carosello, Executive Director of the Estes Valley Recreation and Park District:
I would like to thank each and every one of you for your participation and support of the Estes Valley Recreation and Park District. We are in the process of finalizing our budget for next year, and that means taking a hard look at the things that are working, and the things that aren't. We will be focusing on popular programs such as day trips, monthly special event luncheons and after-school offerings. We will be moving toward digital communications and marketing; reducing our reliance on print media. We have a district app in the works, where you will be able to sign up for push notifications to receive things like weather related closures and specials. We just completed our first edition of the Digital Friday Folders for Estes Park Elementary School families. And, around the first of the year, our website will have a new look and improved functionality. As we move forward, I'm always open to your input; send me an e-mail at, give me a call at the Community Center: 970-586-8191 ext. 117, or on my cell: 970-382-1356. Let me know what you think!

The Griswold Family Christmas in Estes Park

Hi from your new Community Engagement Manager, Lisa VonBargen!
They put me in charge of our float. Right after that, we were laughing that riding in my son's spectacular

and now, I need an RV.

If you have an RV like Cousin Eddie's in Christmas Vacation that you would like to drive in the
Catch the Glow parade the day after Thanksgiving, send me an e-mail: This is going to be fun!
