A message from Tom Carosello, Executive Director of the Estes Valley Recreation and Park District:

I would like to thank each and every one of you for your participation and support of the Estes Valley Recreation and Park District. I am pleased to forward this message to you:

"National Research Center, Inc. (NRC) and Polco have announced Estes Park, CO as a Finalist of the Voice of the People Award for Transformation in Recreation and Wellness. This award is only given to top performing jurisdictions that best listen and act for the benefit of their communities. Based on responses from The National Citizen SurveyTM, now The National Community SurveyTM (The NCSTM), residents in our community reported among the highest levels of improvement for this category compared with all other participating jurisdictions".

We are honored that the citizens of Estes Park feel that we listen and act for their benefit. Our mission is to provide you with quality recreational offerings that enhance your life, and it feels pretty great to have that positive feedback! I'm always open to your input; send me an e-mail at tomc@evrpd.com, give me a call at the Community Center: 970-586-8191 ext. 117, or on my cell: 970-382-1356. I want to hear from you!  To read the full article about the Voice of the People Award, visit evrpd.com and scroll down to the Featured Story.
