A message from Tom Carosello, Executive Director of the Estes Valley Recreation and Park District:

I would like to thank each and every one of your for your participation and support of the Estes Valley Recreation and Park District. Our mission is to provide you with quality recreational offerings that enhance your life, and we are constantly striving to add classes and events that are in line with that mission. LIFEGUARDS WANTED!


Lifeguarding can help you develop leadership skills, increase your physical and mental stamina
and enhance your confidence. We will provide all the necessary training for your certification.
We are seeking all ages of lifeguards from teens to retirees.

EVCC Hires New Wellness Coach




Join us in welcoming the new Estes Valley Community Center Wellness Coach, Rev. Dr. Anna V. Copeland!
 
Author and founder of the Copeland Institute, Rev. Dr. Anna Copeland collaborates with psychologist Dr. Ellis Copeland to direct the work of The Copeland Institute: Healthy Habits for Life, empowering personal transformation and community renewal for a just, merciful and peace-filled world.

Dr. Copeland graduated with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Nebraska, a Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School and a Doctor of Ministry from Chicago Theological Seminary. She co-authored "Sex and the Spirit: The Romance of Heaven and Earth", inviting us into a more purposeful and connected life with self and others. Dr. Copeland supports global partnerships with Common Hope in Guatemala for the education of children, and Habitat for Humanity International in the U.S., Mexico, Guatemala and Nicaragua. Most recently, she initiated a People to People exchange in Cuba.
 
Registration is now open for Dr. Copeland's "Healthy Habits for Life" class series beginning on Thursday, September 12 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The fee is $65 for the six-week series that is open to ages 16 and older.

Golf Course Hours through Labor Day Weekend


Lake Estes 9-Hole Golf Course: 7 a.m.– 6:30 p.m., first tee time: 7:30 a.m.
Estes Park 18-Hole Golf Course: Now through August 30: 6:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m., first tee time: 7:04 a.m.
Labor Day Weekend: Pro-Shop open as above hours, but no tee times due to tournament.

Public Shooting Days at Common Point Shooting Range
Every Saturday Through August 31



The public shooting days are held every Saturday until August 31
at Common Point Outdoor Shooting Range.
Located at 970 Noels Draw Lane, the shooting range is open to the public every Saturday
from June 1 to August 31 from 9 a.m. to noon.

Mamma Mia at the Boulder Dinner Theater


When: Sunday, October 13
Time: Dinner: 12:00 p.m., Show: 1:30 p.m.
Transportation: Van leaves EVCC at 10:30 a.m. and returns at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Fee: $65 per person includes round-trip transportation, dinner, show, tax and gratuity.
Open to ages 18+
