The end of eviction protections has put
Many families at risk of homelessness
The need is urgent
Please consider supporting our efforts to rebuild our Belong Fund! Last year, we collected and fully distributed $47,872 of your Belong Fund donations to community members who were struggling economically due to the pandemic. Your support helped them buy food, pay their basic bills, and help with funeral costs, but close to 90% of your donations helped community members pay rent.
Since July 1, eviction protections that had been established during the pandemic have ended. Our legal partners are confirming what we are witnessing in our communities: a sharp rise in evictions and 3-day notices that is unprecedented, even since the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. Your contributions will be distributed directly to low-income families who may be on the brink of losing their homes.
