Residents can register to lease one of 30 plots in the garden at Edwin and Cambridge streets for $30 beginning Monday, February 6.

Join City staff in the Greater Midland Community Center lobby on Thursday, February 2 for an open house-style feedback event.
Middle School Battles of the Books Returns to Library
Teams of 1-2 students in grades 6-8 can sign up for the fun book-focused Battle and check out books beginning Monday, February 6.
Basic Soap Making Workshop at the Library 
Sessions for teen and adult crafters will be held to teach the basics of making your own soap on Saturday, February 4.
City Clerk's Office Seeking Election Inspectors
Election inspectors are needed to assist voters at the polls, verify voters' identification, and distribute ballots for a May 2 Special Election.
Free Financial Planning, Investment Tools at the Library
Patrons can log in through the Library's website using their Library card to use Financial Ratings Series Online tools at no cost.

What's Up in the City!  Council: Center City, MPD Grant, & DART Buses
At Monday's City Council meeting, Council accepted grant funds for Midland Police Department, approved a purchase of Dial-A-Ride buses, and finished its list of items from the postponed January 9 meeting.
