🤓 SOCIAL: Nerd Nite Madison!

Date: Wednesday, Nov. 30th, 2022
Time: 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm CT
Location: In-person at High Noon Saloon, 701 E. Washington Ave. in Madison

This is not an event that Madison Women in Tech is hosting, but one that we're attending together as a group.

Join us for another edition of Nerd Nite Madison! This fun, free event features three different community members giving short presentations on "nerdy" topics they're passionate about.

The event starts at 8pm, but we'll be there from 7:30pm on to snag seats. (Depending on the month, seats can fill up quickly, so we recommend arriving early!)

✦ UW Data Science Institute Research Bazaar accepting proposals

From WiT member Lana:

"I'm writing to share about an opportunity to present at the UW Data Science Institute Research Bazaar, proposals are due November 10.  The Research Bazaar is a great event that draws together researchers across a variety of disciplines both within the University and the community. I presented last year, and it was a great experience.  I hope many WIT members will consider submitting an application to present in one of the varied formats from poster sessions to lightning talks. The event is in person.
Even if folks are not interested in presenting, I hope everyone can mark their calendar and save the date to attend and perhaps we could go together!

If anyone has questions about what it is like to present, they can contact me at lana@yourparsley.com."
