Presenter at NCN-NPC Investor Meeting Strikes Deal with DSM Mixfit, who presented at the 2017 edition of the NCN-NPC Investor Meeting has partnered with DSM to help take their personalized nutrition offering to market. This union combines DSM’s expertise in essential micronutrients with Mixfit's technology to analyze health data in real-time. Canadian experts weigh in on the intersection of food and natural health products Shelley King, CEO of Natural Products Canada, was one of four Canadians interviewed by leading industry publication, NutraIngredients. The article focuses on the quickly disappearing line between food and NHPs, and what that means for future innovations in the industry. NACO brings its education roadshow to Atlantic Canada  NPC is very proud to partner with the National Angel Capital Organization (NACO) to bring their investor and entrepreneur training program to Atlantic Canada.

NACO Academy delivers in-depth information from highly experienced investors about the investment process, and how to access capital. Entrepreneurs will learn what angels are looking for, how to prepare, and how to navigate the range of options for capital. Investors will learn the in's and out's of structuring deals and term sheets.

The Consulate General of Canada – Boston is partnering with the Boston Globe and Branchfood (the largest community of food innovators in New England) to take advantage of this forward-thinking program, a two-day seminar event with participants from leading US food businesses, service providers and start-ups.

The conference will feature some of the most innovative minds in the food industry. Topics will range from consumer insights to food product innovation and retail. Panel discussions include: Digital Innovation for your Food Company; Redefining Growth: The Rise of Small Brands and Personalized Nutrition. Companies like Amazon, Campbell’s and Chew Labs will be participating.
Canadian companies and entrepreneurs are invited to participate. This is a great opportunity for you to connect, develop partnerships and find out about the latest trends. On the margins of the conference, the Consulate General of Canada – Boston will organize AgTech/FoodTech visits in Boston, targeted B2B meetings and networking opportunities.
