Explore my state! Visit places that normally take so much time to travel to."
Happy Summer! We hope you have enjoyed Colorado's fantastic outdoors. ColoradoHyperloop.com is back and below are some bullet point updates:
  • Did you know that ColoradoHyperloop.com is not aligned with one specific hyperloop company? Nor does ColoradoHyperloop.com receive funding or compensation or any kind of benefit for maintaining the blog and advocacy. We rely 100% on volunteers who are passionate about Colorado, a sustainable transportation future and increasing highspeed opportunities for individuals and businesses. Learn more about our mission and FAQ here.
  • There is a growing awareness of Hyperloop classic (like Virgin Hyperloop One), skate or loop (like Arrivo and The Boring Company) transportation possibilities in Colorado! We also want to more formally support various groups in Colorado that are working on Hyperloop & Loop initiatives from student groups working on SpaceX Hyperloop Pod competitions, to individuals that want to share their thoughts & dreams of this new technology.
  • Colorado is at the forefront of trying new technology and its citizens are not afraid to give feedback. With diverse advocacy organizations to individuals on social media, we have reached out and received feedback from many groups on how best to make ColoradoHyperloop.com a resource to many different users. We want to continue the discussion. Please feel free to get in touch!
  • The friendly Colorado Rail Passenger Association has been working hard and they have some very important news in their recent newsletter (sign up here: http://colorail.org/enews-signup/) ColoradoHyperloop.com applauds their effort and we want to highlight this: "...thanks to the leadership of House Speaker Crisanta Duran and House Transportation Committee Chair Faith Winter, assisted by members of the Commission and many other leaders up and down the Front Range, the Legislature appropriated $2.5 million dollars to the (Front Range Passenger Rail) Commission. The Commission will begin its comprehensive outreach and service development planning this fall, after a project director and planning contract are awarded." If you want to learn more about the passenger rail initiative be sure to check out this slide deck from CDOT.
  • ColoradoHyperloop's social media advocacy campaign that shares submission to the 'Your top needs for a Colorado Hyperloop' webform is going well. We have plenty of content to share and start discussions. Follow Twitter and Instagram for this campaign.
  • Upcoming events ColoradoHyperloop is looking forward to:
  • ColoradoHyperloop.com is still participating in the
     2018 Smart Infrastructure Challenge
VentureSmarter.com and SmartRegions.org. We are in the midst of contacting partnering organizations and forming a transparent social media campaign or what we have already learned.
  • Read a fantastic blog post about The Boring Company and Boulder here.
We will be sending another newsletter soon with more updates, so stay in the Loop!
