Forth Fair Financing Project

In our efforts to promote, support and grow electric vehicles in Portland, Prosper Portland is supporting a new pilot program managed by Forth that tackles a key barrier to electric vehicle access. The program will help rideshare drivers who are low-income, underbanked, or have poor credit, secure financing for a used electric car. Transportation costs are the second highest expense for most households, and many low-income families rely on older cars that may be unreliable and expensive to operate and maintain.

Forth has also started a podcast around its efforts to increase access to electric vehicles and in the podcast, speaks to rideshare drivers in the Portland, Oregon area about their experience switching to electric.

Portland company InPipe Energy is reducing electricity costs and powering lighting and EV charging stations at Hillsboro Stadium, while saving water, infrastructure, taxpayers' money, and the planet. Learn more about their efforts here.

Together with SAGE, we are educating local middle and high school students about the City of Portland's efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions 50 percent from 1990 levels by 2030. Students will learn lessons on climate solutions and connect with businesses about workforce opportunities. Learn more about SAGE Vision 2030 here.

Get Involved In Our Community

The National E-Mobility Equity Conference will take place on Thursday and Friday, November 12-13

This two-day conference is presented by EVNoire, national thought leaders in E-Mobility best practices and E-Mobility equity, and Forth, leaders in clean transportation and producers of the National RoadMap Conference. The E-Mobility Equity Conference will explore and facilitate real conversations about strategies and best practices for engaging diverse communities often hit worst and first by air pollution. To realize this potential, we will need to work together in new ways, build new capabilities, and engage in new ways of thinking, programs and policies. | Read More
