Library director Lillie Huckaby presents a letter to library patrons.

Hello Library Patrons,
I want to share some good news with you. Chickasha Public Library is receiving funds through ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act). We will receive $21,118.09. We expect the money to arrive in the next several days. It will take time to get the items in and available to you but I’m excited about the items we will get so I want to share with you what that money will be used for. We will purchases 2 new databases – Chilton’s Auto Repair database and Gale Legal Forms; 2 new computers for children packed with educational programs, one for young children and one for older children; a picnic table we’ll put out front; a water fountain / bottle fill station; some supplies for our take and make crafts for children, some supplies for our curbside service. Some of the money will help pay for some needed updated computer equipment which you won’t see but will make our system work better. I saved the best for last Wi-Fi Hotspots that you can check out just like a book and take home to use.
