Outdoor Session no1: Tree-planting in cooperation with Nordic Houses.

The event will take place in Thursday, May 4th 2017 at 13:00 - 18:00

Registration deadline is next Tuesday, Apr 25th!

The main purpose of the Outdoor Sessions
is the promotion of active attitude, taking care of our body'n'soul and supporting good Estonian and/or Norwegian initiatives.

On our first Outdoor Session we are going to plant trees in cooperation with Nordic Houses

A responsible company of wood industry knows and has known already for 15 years, how important it is to give back to nature. The friendliness towards environment and sense of responsibility involve different charity projects, one of those being the planting of forest every spring. Nordic Houses is creating a tradition – for the second year, in cooperation with RMK (State Forest Management Centre) they go out and plant trees.

Everyone can do their share for healthier and better living – that should be the mindset of every state, company and citizen. By planting trees, we do good for the environment but first and foremost for ourselves.

This year Nordic Houses invites their good friends and cooperation partners to join in!

Make yourself a gift of a fun day in good company, load your batteries! A work day off your office chair is like a cherry on top of your milkshake!

Forest planting takes place on May 4, leaving Tallinn at 13:00 and will be back in Tallinn by 18:00. Bus will be ordered by Nordic Houses. We will head 60 km out of Tallinn via Peterburi road.
If you are interested please register by Tuesday, April 25 by pushing the "register here" button below! (By pushing the button there will be pop-up message with beforehand prepared text about registration. Industry 4.0 - Raising Productivity seminar on May 23rd in Tallinn - Save the date!

This seminar is special introduction for NECC members for an international conference “MANUFUTURE 2017 – Moving up the Value Chain” taking place in October, 2017 in Tallinn, Estonia (possible free entrance for NECC members). The seminar and conference are prepared in cooperation with Tallinn Technical University - TTUEstonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications - ITL and Innovative Manufacturing Engineering Systems Competence Centre - IMECC.

Industry 4.0 is regarded as the next generation production framework for the fourth industrial revolution that is about individualized mass production with lower costs and greater efficiency. It is vital to find ways to produce more with lower costs.

It was not that long ago when robots started assembling cars, and now it’s time for a new evolutionary jump where they not only assemble cars, but interact with them, and also each other. Robots are becoming cheaper and cheaper every day. Having high quality production without robots is unthinkable nowadays.

Estonia and Germany are two countries that are famous for two backbones of the Industry 4.0 revolution – industry, and information and communications technology. These two elements together form Industry 4.0.

There are no producers who are not constantly thinking about how to make their production more efficient or how to increase productivity. We have to remember that Industry 4.0 is not only connected to what happens inside factories, but it also has connections with design, logistics, training, etc.

What needs to be done to be competitive in this brave new world?

More information about large international conference "MANUFUTURE 2017 – Moving up the Value Chain" is available on this website.

More information regarding to our seminar will be shared soon!

Outdoor Session no2: Rat Race 2017 - White-Collars Charity Run on Friday, June 2nd.

The aim of Rat Race is to bring the “office rats” out into the fresh air and through humour and fun promote charity and an active lifestyle. This year's donations will go to support the Youth in Risk program.

Rat Race started first in New York as an entertaining, sportive charity run for, so-to-say, white-collars. In Tallinn, the route is filled with amusing obstacles and takes the participants right through the Old Town.

This year, the event takes place on June 2, 2017 and is accompanied with an exciting entertainment program on the official stage. There is also a wide range of awards up for winning for all the participants provided by the partners of Rat Race to make the event even more thrilling.

Rat Race Tallinn is organized by JCI Tallinn. JCI unites active people, who show initiative, are motivated and aim high. JCI is a place to learn, experience, and achieve both your personal and professional goals.

A team consists up to 5 members
Recommended: a costume – it could be anything, allow your team to shine amongst the others. Wear comfortable footwear.
The route must be finished in half an hour maximum.
