Outback Festival 2019
Preliminary Program Out Now!
Australia's quirkiest festival will be back this September 24th - 28th in the small Queensland town of Winton to celebrate its 25th festival, with that is set to be the biggest Outback Festival yet!
Coinciding with 2019's 'Year of the Outback', there is no better time to travel to Winton for five days of quintessential Australian fun in the heart of Queensland's outback. The festival's preliminary program has now been released online, featuring the signature festival events the Quilton Australian Dunny Derby, Outback Ironman & Ironwoman and the Century Cycle Challenge for the toughest of competitors.
With a host more entertainment and special guests yet to be announced, the program is shaping up to be a jam packed true Aussie family affair with events including whip cracking, strongman challenges, wool bale rolling and little swaggies activities for the smallest Outback Festival fans. Check out the program below!
For the seasoned travellers, powered caravan and camping sites are available at the Winton Showgrounds for the duration of the festival, with a shuttle service operating regularly between the show grounds and festival event venues.
