Winning Number!
Karen McCormick, Democratic nominee from Colorado 4th,  at the Greeley Stampede on July 4, 2018

Karen beats Ken Buck!!

The Washington Post lists our Karen among the Blue Wave of 91 non-incumbent Democratic women battling to take House seats this November. Local e-news gives her only a 30% chance of beating Buck. Long odds, they say, but trending upward. Not impossible.

So, let’s look at what constellation of fortunate circumstances and blisteringly hard work can and will combine to give the good doctor a win.

It's for sure we'll be seeing this banner a lot in the next four months. It's going to be a long road. But if you need some inspiration, look at WTF's Blue Movies Vimeo Journal and see how far we've come.

A Generous Farewell

WTF Colorado wants to honor a fine man and worthy candidate by reprinting this statement from his Facebook page:

I want to thank everyone who has been so supportive of this journey we have all been on together over this last year. That journey ended last night, but I will never forget your dedication and the sacrifices you made of your time, your money and your own personal lives for this campaign. Your passion kept me going and the people I have met through our campaign over this last year are the real reason that I was running. I am proud of all of you.
The voters of CD4 spoke overwhelmingly last night for Karen McCormick. We must now put all of that same effort you gave to me towards Karen as we go forward towards November. Ken Buck is still out there, and still doing appalling things in his representation of this district. We still must fight; every district, every county, every town.
To all of the hard working candidates who both won and lost last night, I congratulate you for all of your efforts. The number of quality candidates in races up and down the ballot this year was inspiring. I’m privileged to have had the opportunity to know many of you personally, and I will always remember your drive to bring progressive change to Colorado.
Thank you CD4. Thank you for this last year. It has changed me for the better and I will never forget it.
-Chase Kohne
[The emphasis is ours, but the sentiment is pure Chase. Thank you, friend.]
