"...But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.'”
- Matthew 20:26b-28
I want to be great in God’s eyes!  Are we allowed to talk like that!?  Well, Jesus gave instructions to his disciples on how to be great.  He told them to serve.
This Sunday, August 26, is Serve Sunday at CEFC.  Ministry leaders will gather in the lobby to share information about how you can get involved in the ministry of your church.  After services, we'll give you a map of the lobby to help you find your way around to different ministry opportunities and get plugged in.

Serving is a great way to help others, get to know people, and be great in the kingdom of God.
