Matthew Chin
Home Supports Coordinator

Hi! My name is Matt Chin. I am a Home Supports Coordinator and have worked with COR for the past 7 years in a variety of different capacities. I have a passion for helping people and desire to see those around me be the best they can be!

When I can find the time I love getting out to play paintball and golf. I also enjoy sports, movies, and video games. Good food is a vice of mine, and I always have snacks and treats to share with others! If you see me around feel free to stop me for a chat or ask me what kind of candy I have to offer!

Dream Initiative: Dreams Come True
Road Trips are about bonding. They are about turning to your closest friends and your tightest family members to take on the highway together. They are about packing up the car at dawn with sleeping bags and pillows and driving until sundown. They are about open sunroofs, star gazing, and counting on the moon to light your path for just half an hour more. Road trips are about looking to your left, and looking to your right and being excited that these are the people you have chosen to take on the weekend with.

What started as a small request for fuel evolved into a journey of epic proportions. A year’s worth of saving left this rag tag crew of road warriors with just enough to make it to Edmonton and back; but what is a journey without enjoying the fruits of one’s labours. With a little digging and cost cutting, Jessie, Jason, Shaun, Austin and Jay found the perfect Air BnB and transportation to give them some wiggle room where it counted; the fun stuff.

Looking back at the memories created during their road trip, a couple things stand out above all the others. The people we journey with are what bring out the magic in our lives. It is the in between moments that help shape our stories. And finally, dreams do come true when we work hard to make them happen!
