SUCCESSFUL CAR-FREE CANDY CANE LANE
Hundreds bundled up to stroll down the historic festive street

Paths for People helped host the first-ever pedestrian-focused YEG Candy Cane Lane. Folks walking as well as rode bikes, cross-country skis, toboggans while revelling in the glow of the festive street on Thursday, December 12 from 6-9pm.

Thanks to our many P4P volunteers who helped make the route safe and warm by marshalling the roadways while tending the fire pits.

A special thanks to volunteers Theresa Agnew and Dave Buchanan who took the lead on coordinating our 30+ person team.

Draft City Plan

The City Plan charts out how we will get to a future city. It's about our spaces and places and how we move around the city. It is about our community and what we need to do together to grow, adapt and succeed.

The City Plan will replace The Ways documents, including the Municipal Development Plan and Transportation Master Plan.

Review the draft City Plan and provide your comments before January 16, 2020.
