European Youth Information Day (EYID) 2017

 
 

On 17 April 2017, ERYICA will celebrate European Youth Information Day (EYID). This year, ERYICA will be running a campaign on social media related to the role of youth information and the reliability of information in the post-truth era.

ERYICA invites its members, stakeholders, youth workers and young people to take a moment to create memes that begin with “Who told you…” and spread the message of the need for reliable sources and a critical view on information.

All the memes will be displayed at ERYICA's 28th General Assembly and be 
widely promoted among our stakeholders. The campaign will include a meme competition, with prizes for the top 3 memes created.

How to create your #EYID meme

 
  • Upload a photo or choose one of the sample photos in this meme generator tool, go to "New post" on the top left side of the page and click on "Make a Meme"

  • Start your text with the slogan: “Who told you…”, followed by an untruth

  • Add the hashtags: #checkyoursource and #EYID2017

  • Post your meme on our EYID ERYICA Facebook page

  • Tag us on Twitter with @ERYICAYI, or

  • On Facebook with the tag @ERYICA, or

  • 0n Instagram and tag @ERYICA
