Hello Everyone!

Mandy and Jonathan Chew here! :D

Happy April! Mandy and I are off to the Los Angeles Festival of Books this weekend! This year it's located at the University of Southern California. We're super excited because there are some really fun and interesting fiction workshops scheduled and some of our favorite authors will be there!

This month, Mandy and I have been trying to wake up and ask the following 5 morning questions, it helps set our day right and set a good tone for the day:

Question 1: “What am I happy about in my life?”
Question 2: “What am I excited about?”
Question 3: “What am I proud of in my life right now?”
Question 4: “What am I grateful for?”
Question 5: “Who do I love and who loves me?”

Jonathan wrote a parable using these questions on Medium a couple of years ago, but of course, execution is always tricky, so we're trying to really stick to it this month!

Give it a try and let us know how it works for you! :)

Writing Corner —
Since we're off to a writer's conference this weekend, we just wanted to share some great resources by one of our favorite writers Neil Gaiman. He just did a masterclass on MasterClass.com as well as finally did a great 2-hour interview with Tim Ferriss (the interview he had been waiting to do for 20 years!)

So if you haven't checked either of them out, they're super cool and chock full of great writerly advice! :)

It has some great tips for how to unleash your imagination and writing fiction.
Here's to a wonderful mid-April!
