To help ease the anxiety with all the uncertainty happening in the world, here are some positive things to check out! :)
Hi Everyone,
Mandy and Jonathan Chew here 💙
Hope everyone is doing well! We're enjoying Comic-Con@Home right now. We've gone in-person to the San Diego convention in the past but have really enjoyed attending some great panels over the past few days from the comfort of our living room. There are some fantastic panels on Star Trek, Dr. Who, Dragon Prince, Sci-Fi/Fantasy writing, and they're all recorded! 😊 So check it out if you have the chance. Here's a link to see the schedule and videos! There's some fun things to geek out over 🤓
Through all the chaos and uncertainty in the world, we hope you've found time to connect with those you love in new ways. We've found this pause in life to be a time to reassess our priorities with fresh eyes and to remember what's really important. We figure, all we are guaranteed is the present, so we can't let anxiety about the future/past steal our vitality. Instead, we've tried to focus our energy on compassion and creativity and the world has seemed a little brighter as a result! 🙏 It's amazing what a shift in paradigm can do!
Thank you so much for reading our newsletter every month! If you have any positive resources or news to share, feel free to send it our way, we would love to share it in our next issue!

We all need to be kind to ourselves —
“The present is the same for everyone; its loss is the same for everyone; and it should be clear that a brief instant is all that is lost. For you can't lose either the past or the future; how could you lose what you don't have?”
These are some of the ways that regular folks are solving problems and spreading happiness during the pandemic.
The solutions aren't perfect — public health experts have some critiques and suggestions. But at the same time, they applaud the ingenuity and positive vibes.
Read the stories of six grassroots change-makers — then nominate your own at the bottom of this story.
Hasina Kharbhih’s Impulse NGO Network has used an innovative model to rescue 72,000 women and children trafficked across India, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Nepal.
Her innovative model partners with human rights organizations and governments across Asia and Europe, and stands out for its emphasis on financial compensations and repatriation.
A Covid-19 vaccine developed by the biotechnology company Moderna in partnership with the National Institutes of Health has been found to induce immune responses in all of the volunteers who received it in a Phase 1 study.
These early results, published in the New England Journal of Medicine on Tuesday, showed that the vaccine worked to trigger an immune response with mild side effects -- fatigue, chills, headache, muscle pain, pain at the injection site -- becoming the first US vaccine candidate to publish results in a peer-reviewed medical journal.
Thanks to @RachaelQuisel for sending us this positive recipe! :)
May we mix all of these ingredients together every day of our lives! 🙌
"Embarrassment is the cost of entry. If you aren't willing to look like a foolish beginner, you'll never become a graceful master."
~ Ed Latimore
