Sermon Notes for 03/28/2021

Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king. 1 Peter 2:17

John 13
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

Covenant is the expression of the father ____________ of God.

Genesis 15 God and Abram made a Covenant

John 12
23 But Jesus answered them, saying, "The hour has come that
the Son of Man should be glorified. 24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.

A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire; He rages against all wise judgment (or counsel). Prov 18:1

It’s when you have to die to self that _____________ is really expressed.

Covenant relationships don’t even manifest until there is a _____________.

The church has always been a prophetic voice to the world. When the church loses its _______________, the world spins out even worse.

Covenant relationship is a _________________ that I will keep my love on.

We always have 2 choices in every situation:
1) To _______.
2) To _________ my life (to defend myself).

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Gal 2:20

Christianity is about Christ living in and through us. It is about dying to self and letting my life _____________ Jesus.

1 John 4
20 If someone says, "I love God", and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.

Your love for God is demonstrated in the way you _________ your brothers and sisters around you.

The ____________ of covenant is really about me lending the strength of my life to your success.

Benediction: 2 Pet 1:2
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
