Elysian Heights Community,

We hope you have found the time to dig into our offerings for Black History Month thus far. This week we are focusing on Liberation Movements. You will find resources that include the civil rights movement, women’s liberation, the LGBTQ+ movement and beyond. The Black community has been instrumental in the struggle for human rights throughout history and this is yet another opportunity to recognize in gratitude.

If you have any questions you can always feel free to reach out to LeTania Smith (letania.kirkland@gmail.com) or Kathryn Sutherland (kathryn.sutherland@lausd.net)
