Hello Members and welcome to December. It is hard to believe the year has flown by so fast! May you find much inspiration around you this month.
Important Meeting Dates
Photography Group Meeting Tuesday December 6th at 7:00 PM at the studio. The Theme is "Anything Goes". As of January, Don Beal will be taking over the organization of Photo Group.
We thank Wendy Fulginiti for all her work and commitment. She will be taking on other Guild duties going forward.
Board Meeting: There will be no meeting this month.
January Board Meeting time and place will be determined and announced. In January we have our Annual Meeting.
This is the time to vote on those people in the existing Board Positions and make changes. Any member is welcome to attend.
We do have some changes coming as Maggie Hart will be stepping down as Communications Officer/Publicity Coordinator. Wendy Fulginiti is sited to step into that position.
If Any Member is interested in being a member of the Executive Committee or helping out in any way there are so many opportunities.
Program Coordinator Needed. We are looking for a person to coordinate Programs for The Guild.
Venue Coordinators Needed. We are seeking persons to Organize Venues where members display their art. We have new venue opportunities for members coming in the next year and need help with this. If we could have one person in charge of each venue it would be a tremendous help.

Open Studio is Wednesdays from 9:30 to 12:00And On two Saturdays per month. December Saturday Open Studio will be held on Dec 3rd and Dec 10th. We will be closed the rest of the month on Saturdays given the business of the Holidays.
Join us to work on an ongoing project or get advice/inspiration to start a new piece. It is always a fun time with artistic friends.
Any Last Minute Cancellations (inclement weather etc). for Open Studio will always be posted on our Facebook Page.
Novembers 20th Anniversary Giveaway Winner was Ginny Holway who won a gift certificate for a free future workshop. Congratulations Ginny.
Up Coming Exhibits
The Winter MAG/Paxton Senior Center Art Show is exhibiting the works of Linda Spencer, Cheryl Rossier, Loretta Medeiros, Sid Solomon, Susan Kenny and Irena Russell.
The Show will run from November 1st through January 30th.
Please stop by and check out the works of these wonderful artists and we thank Nancy McBride and The Paxton Senior Center for coordinating this opportunity!
Debra Roberts Kirk is having an exhibit of her work at The Gallery at Briarwood for November and December. The exhibit is called Attuned 2 Nature. Debbie along with her friend Joanne Talbot Quinn, who is an accomplished oil painter are exhibiting close to 60 pieces of art. The Open Reception is Dec 4 from 2-4:00 Congratulations Debbie!
The Gallery is in The Birches at 65 Briarwood Circle in Worcester and is open Monday through Friday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Cornerstone Bank in Spencer will have the work of Dick Benton for November and December.
Richard Sugden Library in Spencer is displaying the work of Barbara Grusell and Wayne and Linda Lilyestrom for November/December.
Cormier's Jewelers has the work of Irena Russell and Don Beal on display for November/December. The Artists who won Best In Show, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Prize will have the opportunity to exhibit there in January/February. Please consider displaying your work and ribbon in their Gallery. Sandy sent out an email to winners asking who will be displaying pieces. If you haven't responded to her please do so.

Workshops and Demonstrations We are putting together our Workshops/Demonstration calendar for the year 2023. Would you be interested in doing a workshop or demonstration? Course ideas might include Back to Basics of Drawing, Watercolor Techniques, Photography Tips, I-Phone Photography, Alcohol Inks, Collage???? We love learning on every subject from beginners to advanced!
Do you know someone who would like to do one for our members? We have lots of talent to share with each other in this organization and would love to put your name on our workshop list.
Please contact Sandy if you'd be willing to teach or do a demonstration on your favorite subject on a Saturday Morning or a Weekday Evening.
