How About Getting Arty In A Sketchbook?

Recipe for relaxation:

Take one sketchbook, a tin of watercolour paints, a thick and a thin watercolour paint brush, a little pot to put some water in, water...and some for drinking or of course you could pack a picnic and some bubbles, a picnic blanket or something squishy to sit on.
Place self on blanket and enjoy!

Maika took a sketchbook outdoors last week when the weather was warm and we are inspired by what she created.

We will be posting a little video of Maika's creative watercolour painting on our Instagram so do watch out for that. We will also be hosting some outdoor watercolour workshops this summer so you can enjoy doing this guided by us to get you started. More details are on our website.

We also sell our watercolour workshop in kit form which is great for giving as a gift or taking to the park to have a go yourself. It includes a full instruction booklet and a video instruction where you have one of our lovely hosts showing you the ropes to get you started on your watercolour journey.

Make Your Own Printed Bag
or Tea Towel

We'll guide you through creating your own lino printed tote bag or tea towel in a variety of colours.

You'll be shown how to carve into lino to create the stamp, which you'll then use to print your design in your choice of coloured printing inks.

You'll leave with your very own creation and get to take the stamp home with you too so that you can make more if you choose. You can also buy extra totes or tea towels on the day.

Make Your Own Vinyl Printed
T-Shirt, Tote Bag or Baby Grow

We will guide you through how to design and make your own t-shirt, tote bag or baby grow with hand cut vinyl. There will be plenty of designs on show, so you can get some inspiration and a sense for what is possible. Then, you'll have a think about what kind of design you'd like to do and we'll get to it!

You'll leave having made a unique t-shirt and tote bag or baby grow to bring home or to give as a gift. You'll also feel the proven mindfulness benefits of being creative!
