Easter is almost here!

Snow in April?! But isn't it supposed to be spring? What is going on?

I was asking that same question today. Just this last weekend I celebrated the signs of spring - flowers, deep cleaning, new chicks. I love this time of year. For me, spring weather brings a reminder of something new and fresh after the long, cold, darkness of winter. Spring renews my hope that fruit will come from the dark nights of the soul.

Perhaps you find yourself feeling the need for hope. Perhaps you need something new after what has felt like a never ending season of darkness. Perhaps you too need signs of new life, hope, resurrection.

Just as we plant seeds in the darkness of the soil, trust God in the planting of seeds of faith in the darkness of life. Keep holding on to that faith. Easter is almost here and as we gather in worship, I hope you will join us as we are making a new thing, preparing, and believing.

Hang tight my friends! We are almost there and I am so grateful that we get to walk this journey together.

Blessings,
Pastor Kris
