Board Message

Greeting HABA Members,

A brief introduction: I am Cha Xiong, an Advisory Board Member. I graduated from law school in 2016. I clerked at the MN Court of Appeals before spending two years in private practice focusing on products liability and employment defense. This year, I joined the MN Office of the Attorney General in its Administrative Law division where I work on the Utilities, Energy, and Telecommunications team.

It's been fantastic to be part of the HABA Board and its many initiatives. I'm especially looking forward to this year with all of our planned events. I hope to meet more of you who make up such a small but most important bar.

- Cha Xiong - Advisory Board Member

Ever wanted to be more involved in HABA, but couldn't commit to a 2-year term as a board member? Well this opportunity will be perfect for you! HABA is currently seeking someone to join, and co-lead HABA's Nominating Committe.

What is the Nominating Committee? The Nominating Committee will steer HABA's bi-annual election process from accepting and directing nominations for members to join the HABA Board to planning election events, and running the election. Anyone interested should send an email to indicating that they want to join the Nominating Committee.
