Redblacks Youth Mentorship Program
A free opportunity to bond with a pro athlete through the Ottawa Redblacks and Youth Mentorship Program (for youth ages 14-18). Receive one-on-one individual mentoring by dedicated athletes, focusing on building supportive relationships between athletes and high school youth. SWAG (Students Will All Graduate)
SWAG (Students Will All Graduate) is offered by a team of Youth Workers, Ontario Certified Teachers and Volunteers 4 days a week throughout the school year and summer. At the Fraud and Scam Prevention Webinar presented in partnership with Elder Abuse Prevention Ontario, caregivers and seniors will learn about recognizing, rejecting, and reporting fraud and scams. The presentation will cover specific frauds and scams that are common, including: grandparents scam, romance fraud, emergency fraud, CRA fraud, bank investigator fraud, and spoofing. This telephone friendly visiting line for seniors is designed to provide an option for those who may be feeling lonely or isolated. Offered through the Good Companions, Senior's Centre Without Walls is a free interactive telephone-based program that provides a rich line-up of health-related information from professionals in the community, later-life learning opportunities, participation in brain-stimulating activities, and most of all, the space to create meaningful friendships and community for those who may feel isolated. A free five week interactive web based series for those who are looking to take an active role in the management of their health. Each week you will make a plan that supports healthy changes that are important to YOU. COVID-19 Vaccines: UPDATE
Do you have questions about vaccines and booster doses? Consider getting your booster ahead of what may be an active flu and respiratory illness season in our community if you are 18 and over. It is recommended to receive the Bivalent Booster at an interval of at least six months from your previous dose. For more information click here.

Intake services have changed and are provided through the support of technology as much as possible. Please contact intake by email or call 613-722-4000 ext. 260 to make arrangements to pick up any needed items, such as access to our food or baby cupboard. Counselling Connect
With planning and development support from the Ottawa Health Team-Équipe Santé Ottawa, community-based mental health and addiction counselling providers responded. Counselling Connect provides all ages free access to a same-day or next-day phone or video counselling session, and counsellors can be requested from the African, Caribbean and Black communities, the LGBT2QI communities, and the Indigenous communities, and is also offered in Arabic.  Click here for more information.
