Trinity Prayer List
Live Streams

The Trinity community continues to adapt and change as together we find new ways to stay connected despite our physical separation.

One way we've done this is collectively coming together virtually for worship and prayer. Find videos of previous worship services and the newly launched Community Prayer Time, as well as upcoming scheduled live streams on the Trinity Website or on Trinity's YouTube channel

That said, Trinity staff and leadership have made the difficult decision to extend the closure of the Trinity building to public gathering and meeting through the end of April. The decision is all the more difficult given that this time frame encompasses Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Easter. Given this, we are continuing to explore other ways for us to be a cohesive community in this time of exile and physical separation.

Keep scrolling for some of the plans already in the works, but first a note from President Sue Carlson on some Council action from Tuesday's meeting.
March 18, 2020
Dear Trinity members,

At last night’s council meeting (3/17) we made some decisions that we think you should be aware of before the minutes are posted next month.
  1. A slate of Call Committee candidates was approved. The next step is a congregational vote. This may need to be by a mail in ballot. More on this to come.
  2. Due to a potential loss of wages to our school employees, we agreed that the right thing to do would be to loan money from our reserve account, up to $60,000.00 if it is needed. Our schools plan to reopen soon, so barring any unforeseen event this is only a precaution.
  3. In the event our Trinity staff needs to be furloughed, salaries will still be paid and sick leave extended for those that might be ill.
These measures passed with a majority vote and in light of the current situation we want to have plans in place. We all continue to pray for the health in our world, nation and community. We thank you all for honoring the safe distancing policies and making a worship space in your home for our online streaming services. Please reach out to those you know that do not have online capabilities.

In Christ’s service-
Sue Carlson, Council President

One final way to stay connected, for those who are able, is via social and other media. When sharing, use the hashtag #TrinityLynnwood and tag @TrinityLynnwood, or send them along to Josh for possible sharing via Trinity's communication channels.

An example is the above pic shared by Kimberly Vail (Trinity member and employee at our schools) of her daughter watching Pastor Hector preach last Sunday!
Please remain safe by continuing to wash hands regularly, avoid crowds as much as possible, stay home if you feel sick, and practice social (physical) distancing as much as possible.

Blessings and Peace,
Josh Judd-Herzfeldt
Trinity Communication Coordinator
