Let's all give Phil a warm welcome to the Tailored Health team 👏👏👏
Fun fact: Phil made the Big V (Victorian) AFL team last year out of 6,000 footballers and got named in the best on ground against South Australia! Having played football since junior level in addition to many other sports, Phil has firsthand experience in the benefits of exercise rehabilitation for (numerous!) injuries. However, ‘prevention is key’.
Phil joins the team at Tailored Health with a wealth of experience working with patients from all walks of life to achieve better movement, function and overall health and wellbeing. Phil is passionate about working closely with his clients to set realistic goals that easily fit into any busy schedule, while reflecting the unique needs of each individual.
Phil also has a personal interest in chronic health management, drawing on current research and training to reduce the burden of a condition or injury on daily life. In his spare time, Phil enjoys all things fitness related, reading, trying new recipes and his latest challenge – assistant coaching in Women’s football.
Lastly, Phil is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and a member of Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA). He completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science (Sports Practice) and Masters of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Victoria University.
