DIFC’s H1 2022 performance success

Dear member of the DIFC Community,

I am very pleased to share details of DIFC’s performance for the first six months of the year. The results show that together, we continue to increase our contribution to Dubai’s economy. We now have 4,031 companies in the region’s largest financial ecosystem, representing 22 per cent year-on-year growth.

Confidence from the industry has led to 537 new companies joining us during the first half of 2022. This led to the fastest job creation growth since inception and demand for commercial spaces also surged.

Surpassing 4,000 clients for the first time reinforces our position as the leading and largest financial centre in the region. Our achievements demonstrate early success from our Strategy 2030 and the specific initiatives we have introduced to attract and deepen relationships with clients.
