The DIFC Academy proudly presents the third edition of the DIFC Compliance Series. Regulatory compliance is an area of growth in the Middle East, becoming a selling point for any businesses that wish to project a mature, solid reputation. This webinar series will break down key compliance concepts and give insights from local and global experts in the field on how to build up a world-class compliance program. It will cover turning regulatory compliance into effective operations, understanding risk assessment and methodology, values and ethics, and specific regulatory compliance topics such as financial crime prevention and data protection.

In this session, we will cover the basic principles of data protection as well as potential conflicts with financial crime/fraud laws, which law wins such conflicts and how to comply.
