STABLE Kentucky Hits 100 Accounts in June!

Since Treasurer Allison Ball launched STABLE Kentucky in December, STABLE Kentucky accounts have had an increasing number of enrollment. At the beginning of June, we hit over 100 accounts! This is just the beginning of this great resource for Kentuckians with disabilities.

If you or someone you know has a STABLE Kentucky account, please let us know by emailing! Treasurer Ball would love to hear about your experience and how STABLE Kentucky is helping you.

What is STABLE Kentucky?

Enrollment is open for STABLE Kentucky Accounts! STABLE Kentucky is a new initiative launched by Treasurer Allison Ball to promote saving and investing for people with disabilities. With the creation of the STABLE Kentucky initative, eligible participants are able to save money, invest money and spend money on qualified expenses such as healthcare, education, housing and transportation – all without affecting participants’ eligibility for benefits programs such as Medicaid and SSI.

An additional benefit of this program is that it costs ZERO Kentucky tax dollars to fund. Account holders only pay $42 per year to use this service.
