The pledge campaign for this year has come to a close, and there's still a major gap in our finances.
Last year, we had 61 pledges come in from members of our parish, offering up $253,488 to help cover the salaries of our dedicated staff, supplies for the Street Chaplaincy program, learning materials for our youth, and so much more.
As of November 2nd, we have received 37 pledges for $190,026. This is a drop of 25% compared to last year's total. We need more individuals and families to commit to supporting the church financially in order to meet our budget for the upcoming year.
The good news is that we've received pledges from 6 people who had not pledged before, which is really encouraging given the difficult circumstances we've faced as a community this year. But that means that nearly half of the people who pledged last year have not turned in a pledge yet.
If you are among those who have not yet turned in a pledge, we would love to add you to our list of financial supporters for 2021. Please visit the secure online pledge form
and submit your pledge - it takes less than a minute to commit to supporting the mission of Christ Episcopal Church in 2021. Or, you can mail in the pledge card you received in the mail. Please contact the church office if you need a new card.
Thank you for your continued support of our community and your generous gifts of money, time and energy.
