Hi <<First Name>>,


It's been a very long time since we talked. Quite honestly, the last six months have been a bit of a blur. I can't describe how much I'm learning, but boy this startup thing is hard.

Since the last email I've learnt to skip, code and cook a way better omelette (no joke, put the ingredients in near the end). Progression is also hotting up, with some good early customers. But with personal runways looking a bit more dicey, we really need to be focused on growth.

With that in mind I just put the finishing touches on a blog post entitled 'Lost, but making good time' in which Neil (my not so new co-founder) and I had a heart to heart and realised that I need to be focusing much more on sales. It's not a muscle I've used much, and it's going to be one of the tougher mountains to climb for me in the coming months.
