March is a very exciting month for Racing Tauranga, with two big meetings running on consecutive Saturdays. Kicking things off is the Saint Patrick's Day Races on Saturday 16th. With a live Irish band and pop-up Guinness bar on the lawn, it is set to be a fantastic day. We have a full house with sponsors in the Doncaster Lounge, a private function in the Owens Lounge and a St. Patrick's Day hospitality package in the Tokyo Lounge. It is an eight race programme with the first race set to jump at 12:45pm and the last at 5:03pm.
Gates open from 10:30am.
Following hot on the heels is our premier meeting on Saturday 23rd - the Bayleys International Raceday. This distinguished event showcases
top thoroughbred racing including the prestigious Group 2 Windsor Park Stud Japan NZ International Trophy, the Drymix Cement Bay of Plenty Cup
and the Triton Pacific Owens Plate.
The meeting is also host to The Breeze Fashions in the Field in association with Tauranga Crossing. The competition is being held in the Tokyo Lounge, so be sure to pop in throughout the day to enjoy the impeccable fashion and
cheer for the competitors as they contest the fantastic prize stakes
generously supplied by our Fashions in the Field sponsors.
MC'd by Jolene James from The Breeze radio station, it is sure to be an entertaining and glamorous affair.
