Story of Impact • 5Cities Homeless Coalition
To assist those that have been faced financial hardships during the COVID-19 pandemic, 5Cities Homeless Coalition (5CHC) has partnered with the State of California's COVID-19 Rent Relief Program. 5CHC is offering multi-lingual assistance free of charge to those that need help applying online for this rent and utility assistance. The only way to apply is through the State's online portal; this has provided complications for some SLO County residents.

"We've been connecting with landlords and property management companies to identify tenants who may not have access to the internet or those with limited digital literacy as well as passing out flyers at local food pantries, agriculture jobs, churches, and many more to ensure we can help as many people as possible." - Devon McQuade, Associate Director of 5Cities Homeless Coalition.
