Alcohol sales introduced to Trask Coliseum for basketball season 

During the Board of Trustees meeting held Oct. 22, 2019, the board voted to allow the sale of alcohol during basketball games, specifically in Trask Coliseum. 
Moxley recieves second Rookie of the Week honor

Moxley has started all but one game for the Seahawks this season. She currently stands as the team’s leading scorer with 17 points off five goals and seven assists and ranks third in the CAA for points-per-game with 1.21. 
How mass shootings affect UNCW students

A feeling of restlessness seems to overwhelm the student body here at UNCW. The sad reality of mass shootings has taken a massive toll on our youth and has affected our way of life. Where will our representatives draw the line and say themselves, “enough is enough.”
"Of the Earth" exhibit: fiber and rope and twine, oh my!

The “Of the Earth” exhibit showcases artwork made from natural materials, including recycled paper, cotton, clay, rope and twine. Tricia Messenger and Lemuel Heida worked in collaboration over the span of two months to produce the artwork showcased in the Ann Flack Boseman gallery. Throughout their creative process, they experimented with new techniques and ended up creating between 20 and 30 samples of different fibers.
