Education Alert: Governor Hogan has proposed over $300 million worth of cuts to public education. These cuts would impact every county and every school. Combined with the uncertainty for the upcoming school year, these cuts are simply unacceptable.
The next step for the proposed cuts is a vote by the Board of Public Works (Governor Hogan is one of the Board's three members). On Wednesday, July 1st, the Board will consider the first set of cuts, $110 million of the proposed $345 million.
We need you to send a message to members of the Board of Public Works and tell them to oppose education funding cuts. Be sure to click here.
