Updates May 24th-30th
We received the results from the COVID-19 tests taken from the National Guard Go team. Of the thirteen people tested, two individuals and two employees had positive results. Additionally, two other employees with minor symptoms took it upon themselves to get tested and those outcomes came back as positive. This week another individual supported by CSS has been tested out of an abundance of caution due to a possible exposure. We are awaiting the results of this test. This person is asymptomatic and the team and family are aware of the situation. In all cases precautionary steps have been taken and CSS is closely monitoring the situation.
On Memorial Day we had a special hour long town hall. As part of the kick-off for summer, Janice Goldschmidt showed us how to make S’Mores. Afterwards, several friends and families took advantage of the Zoom breakout rooms to have private conversations. Thank you to all who attended!
Five teams were recognized this week during our daily town hall virtual meetings. These spotlights feature the hard work that everyone has done over the last two months as we have had to adapt and change how services are provided while ensuring that everyone’s safety is at the forefront. We visited with Timbercreek, Fountain Hill, Commodore, Lowfield, and on Friday we celebrated the Facility Team! The Facility Team always goes above and beyond ensuring that all of the buildings and vehicles are maintained and they have had to expand their routines and responsibilities since the onset of the COVID-19 health crisis. All of the teams featured enjoyed a pizza lunch and received personalized cards thanking them for their teamwork and outstanding care during this crisis.
Graduation is June 3rd at 12:30. This Wednesday, instead of our traditional Town Hall Meeting, we will be dedicating this time to graduation! Join us as we celebrate the achievements of the students at the Marcia D Smith school and we honor the graduates. This is a special event and we hope to see you there.
The Annual Satisfaction Surveys have been emailed. If you haven’t completed it yet, you can find it here: https://tinyurl.com/CSS-Survey2020
The first sixteen questions on the form are identical to previous years. We have used the same survey form for the past twenty years, and we are able to compare results from year to year across services. This year, we have added an additional four questions to evaluate our response to the COVID-19 crisis. Please take the time to answer all of the questions.
Every response matters. Contact Ashley if you have any problems, firstname.lastname@example.org.
