Brother <<Last Name>>,
Anticipating Our Return to Ithaca
Cornell’s 2021-22 academic year has now officially come to an end which means Reunion 2022 is upon us! Personally, I can’t wait for our first in-person Reunion since the summer of 2019. I especially look forward to spending time with the DKE brothers making the trip to Ithaca this summer, discussing the recent successes and future plans for our chapter, and taking on a couple of long needed house projects that need some care and attention.
For those of you planning to come to Ithaca the weekend of June 11th, please carve out some time in your plans to join us at the DKE house at 2 pm on Saturday for the General Membership Annual Meeting of the Delta Chi Association, followed by a reception featuring Glenora wines and other assorted goodies. If you plan to attend in person, please let me know by replying to this email. Dues paying members of the Association attending the meeting in Ithaca will have the opportunity to vote for DXA Board Members and Officers for the coming year. To learn more about the proposed Board and Officer nominees, please see the front page of our website at: https://dke-cornell.org/
For those of you that are not able to attend in person, we will be live streaming the 2pm meeting at the following link. We would love to have you join us live to get an update on our chapter and spend some quality time with your fellow brothers. Dues paying brothers that are joining remotely may vote using the proxy form found here and submitting it back by Friday June 10th.
Not sure if you’re a dues paying member? The Delta Chi Association recognizes as dues all contributions of $75 or more ($30 for recent graduates) made to DKE, whether the contribution is made directly to the Delta Chi Association or through Cornell’s DKE Group Housing Fund. If you have contributed that amount to DKE in the last year, you’re good to go! If not, please go to our giving page and make a qualifying contribution before the 10th of June. As a special benefit, all contributions to DKE, through either of these channels, will also be recognized by Cornell as a gift for your class year. There has never been a better time to support DKE, be it through financial support, or by engaging with your fellow Dekes at the annual meeting on June 11th. I hope to see you there!
