Nous avons franchi plusieurs étapes importantes au cours des derniers mois et nous sommes fiers de les annoncer aujourd'hui.
L'annonce de nouveaux projets est une démarche passionnante pour toute organisation. C'est une façon de mettre en valeur l'innovation, le progrès et la croissance. La Boîte s'efforce constamment de créer des projets qui ne sont pas seulement innovants, mais aussi significatifs et pertinents pour les communautés avec qui nous collaborons.
Nous sommes vraiment reconnaissants pour le soutien que nous recevons de nos partenaires, de nos bailleurs de fonds et de nos amis au Canada et ailleurs dans le monde.
Nous envisageons l'avenir avec enthousiasme et confiance, et nous sommes impatients de partager avec vous de nouvelles informations dans les mois à venir.

Manifeste pour une ruralité interculturelle
|

|
La Boîte vient de terminer un important travail de rédaction du Manifeste pour une ruralité interculturelle.
La rédaction de ce document a été une expérience transformatrice qui a permis de clarifier nos valeurs et ce que nous voulons pour notre communauté. Un manifeste est une contribution importante à la conversation en cours sur les questions qui nous importent le plus en tant qu’individus et en tant que société.
Nous souhaitons que la conversation s’articule autour de trois thèmes :
- la construction de la communauté,
- l’art et son pouvoir d’unification, et
- le lien entre la politique et la pratique.
Il s’agit d’un appel à l’action pour tous les individus afin qu’ils deviennent plus conscients de l’impact de leurs actions sur les autres. En célébrant la diversité, en favorisant la compréhension et en promouvant le respect, nous pouvons créer une communauté plus inclusive et plus harmonieuse qui profitera à tous.
Nous nous réjouissons à l'idée de pouvoir partager et de nous engager dans un dialogue constructif avec d’autres personnes passionnées par les mêmes questions.
Nous espérons qu’il pourra inspirer le changement, remettre en question le statu quo et formuler une vision pour l’avenir.
Lancement prévu à l'automne 2023.

Le 28 avril dernier, La Boîte en collaboration avec des participants bénévoles du Maroc, Cameroun, Burkina Faso, Sri Lanka, Québec, France et du Mali, réalisait le projet expérimental 'Faire des noeuds pour tisser des liens | Tissage collectif musical animé par le vent'.
L'expérimentation de nouveaux projets est cruciale pour les organisations comme pour les individus. Elle permet d'explorer des idées novatrices, de tester de nouvelles approches et de repousser les limites.
Tester de nouveaux projets peut également aider à identifier les forces et les faiblesses d'un concept particulier, ce qui permet de l'améliorer et de l'affiner. Sans elle, il n'y aurait pas d'innovation et nous stagnerions.
Un événement qui a réussi à démontrer qu'il est possible de créer des liens avec une activité ludique et musicale. Les participants ont démontré une écoute active et une volonté de travailler ensemble pour trouver des solutions créatives au projet que nous leur avons présenté.
Lorsque les gens collaborent ensemble pour le bien commun, cela favorise la solidarité et la cohésion au sein du groupe.
Ce projet représente l'essence même de La Boîte interculturelle.

Manifesto for an intercultural rurality
|
|
La Boîte just finished an important work on writing the Manifesto for intercultural rurality.
The act of writing this document has been a transformative experience that has clarified our values and what we want for in our community. A manifesto is an important contribution to the ongoing conversation around the issues that matter most to us as individuals and as a society.
The conversation is shaped around three themes:
- community building,
- art and its unifying power, and
- between policy and practice.
It is a call to action for all individuals to become more mindful of the impact their actions have on others. By embracing diversity, fostering understanding, and promoting respect, we can create a more inclusive and harmonious community that benefits us all.
We look forward to sharing our ideas and to engage in a meaningful dialogue with others who are passionate about the same issues.
We hope that it can inspire change, challenge the status quo, and articulate a vision for the future.

Wind-driven collective project
|

|
On April 28, La Boîte, in collaboration with volunteer participants from Morocco, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Sri Lanka, Quebec, France and Mali, carried out the experimental project 'Tying knots to weave links | Tissage collectif musical animé par le vent'.
Experimenting with new projects is crucial for organisations and individuals alike. It allows for the exploration of innovative ideas, the testing of new approaches and the pushing of boundaries.
Testing new projects can also help to identify the strengths and weaknesses of a particular concept, allowing it to be improved and refined. Without it, there would be no innovation and we would stagnate.
An event that succeeded in demonstrating that it is possible to create links with a playful and musical activity. The participants showed active listening and a willingness to work together to find creative solutions to the project we presented.
When people work together for the common good, it promotes solidarity and cohesion within the group.
This project is the true essence of La Boîte interculturelle.
