As Operations Manager, Rob will manage the financial, physical and personnel resources of the parish. He will facilitate the business operations of the parish, thereby releasing the Pastor to carry-out his pastoral and spiritual responsibilities. The Operations Manager ensures that parish resources are employed efficiently and effectively in serving the needs of the Holy Rosary Community.

Rev. Mr. Juan Carlos Garía-Mendoza has been appointed parochial vicar at St. Rose of Lima in Murfreesboro.

Deacon García-Mendoza was ordained to the diaconate on April 13, 2019. He was assigned to Holy Rosary for his internship last fall. He is currently in residence with me and will be with us until July 14. Deacon García-Mendoza was originally scheduled to be ordained to the priesthood of our Lord on May 30, 2020. Because of the current circumstances and the restrictions on large gatherings, his priestly ordination was rescheduled. God willing, Deacon García-Mendoa is in line to be ordained a priest on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary––August 15––at the Cathedral of the Incarnation at 9:00 a.m.

Deacon García-Mendoza began his seminary formation at Assumption Seminary in San Antonio, Texas. During his time at Assumption Seminary, Rev. Mr. García-Mendoza earned his B.A. in Pastoral Ministry with a concentration in Philosophy from the University of the Incarnate Word (2016). Once Deacon García-Mendoza concluded his studies and formation at Assumption Seminary, he was then transferred to Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans, LA, where he earned his M.A. in Theology (2020).

Details about attendance and guidelines for his ordination will be given once the diocese makes this information available. Please continue praying for Deacon García-Mendoza as he prepares himself to be ordained a priest of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
