Spring Clothing Swaps

We're hosting 5 different clothing swaps across campus over the next few weeks! You can clothes to the lobby bins in the MSH, CCRH, McAuley, HM and LL ahead of time, bring something to exchange to the event or come empty handed. Whichever way you participate, you can leave with some new-to-you items. Many of the events will have a repair station where you can use our supplies to learn to mend your clothes (and take home what you need if you can't finish the repair there).

March 22nd 5-7PM in the WDW Multipurpose Room
March 23rd 5:30-7:30PM in the Great Room
March 31st 4-6PM on the CCRH lawn (rain location is CCRH Peloton room)
March 31st 5:30-7:30PM in the Harris/Millis Garage (and plant propagation so bring an old jar or bottle!)
April 1st from 4-6PM in the L/L Fireplace Lounge

Inclusive Excellence Symposium: Kristy Drutman

March 29th, 6-7PM in DC Silver Maple Ballroom
Come explore the connection between social justice and sustainability at this weeklong UVM symposium, FREE to students!

We're especially excited to hear from Kristy Drutman, a Jewish-Filipina environmental media creator and founder of Brown Girl Green, a media platform exploring the intersections between media, diversity, and environmentalism. She has also worked with youth from around the world to create collaborative, intersectional online media with the goal of creating conscious, culturally relevant content to engage audiences about proactive solutions to the climate crisis.

Sustainable Campus Fund (SCF)

March 29th, 1:30-3PM in DC Chittenden Bank Room and Teams
Stop by the SCF forum and weigh in on how your student fees are used to advance sustainability. You can just stop in to hear a proposal and don't have to attend the full forum.

Interested in getting more involved? Consider applying to join the Socially Responsible Investing Advisory Council (SRIAC), the group that recommends which SCF proposals should be funded. Apply here!
