In the “words of our workers” we bring to you the incredible joy we feel in the industry God has given us in Haiti. Who could have known that the process of taking apart used shipping pallets, to build furniture for own needs, could grow into a Woodshop in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Now a School of Carpentry building is underway on our country property in Bohoc, Haiti. A “School” where we can duplicate our acquired knowledge and success and bring jobs and training to our country community. Where there are no jobs at all and no education we have the opportunity to teach as our Master Carpenter did. God has blessed beyond measure a simple idea. A seed was planted that has now grown...
"My name is Surprin Doodley, I’m 17 years old. I started working in the wood shop a year ago in construction, I live with my parents. I still in school. I like to work with Beehive International, Inc. They make you feel like you’re home, and they’re teaching me to be a hard worker. I learn more valuable with the Beehive than I learn in school."
"Name is Lazi Fednel. I’m 24 years old, I’m single, I live with my dad. Unfortunately, I lost my Mom in a young age, my dad is pretty old and not working. Life is been very hard for us. A month ago I decided to come and work in the wood shop. During my month of training, I’ve learn a lot of great skills--specially on how to finish the furniture, stain, paint and sanding. I can see my future by working and learning more skills in the wood shop. Thank you so much for the help of the Beehive."
"My name is Azor Jean Elie. I am 43 years old. I start to work with Beehive International, Inc. 2 years ago. I’m married, I have 4 kids, I’m a builder. Today I can say Beehive really change my life--my kids go to school without problems, I save money to rent my house without problems. I had a lot difficulty before for these thing but then the time I start to work with Beehive International, Inc. my life has changed."
This woodshop team is part of a group of 25 workers whose earnings support over 220 extended family members!  They can now build over 1250 different items and fill custom orders for the Port-au-Prince area.
You can help us recreate this school on our country property in Bohoc, Haiti, bringing jobs and education to an area where there is absolutely none. This training will last for generations and is fully capable of transforming the lives of so many. This may be our greatest “entering wedge” to bring the message of Jesus soon return to a forgotten community.
