➡️ We make phone banking easy! Our phone banks begin with a Zoom call orientation and end with the opportunity to debrief. Along the way, our phone bank leaders are available to help you with any problems. After you sign up, we'll get back in touch with all the information you need to connect. We're with you every step of the way! Thanks for joining us in this fight to turn WIBLUE! Questions? Email Kathleen Long
Thank you to those of you who have trained and/or texted with us last week! We sent over 98,000 texts, including those that many of you sent outside our text banks. We have collectively sent 402,000 texts to date -- keep up the great work and we’re going to blow past our Texting Team goal of sending 600,000 texts by Election Day before you know it! What do you think….can we up our goal to 1,000,000 texts?!?
We have less than 30 days until November 3, and people in Wisconsin, Michigan and other battleground states are already voting! Help us “Text Out The Vote” in the next four weeks by signing up for shifts and text banks today before they fill up. And join our ThruText training tonight to get started with the Wisconsin and Michigan texting programs, so you are ready to go when GOTV texting begins this weekend in MI!
Last Thursday we had our best turnout so far! 22 Indivisibles showed up and together we made over 1,100 dials in one night - bringing our total - including weekend shifts - to over 8,000! Thanks to all who've picked up a phone on Thursdays or on your own - and if you canvassed or called or sent postcards to help her flip the seat in 2018.
The GOP is targeting Rep. Underwood with boatloads of money and tons of negative advertising. That's why we need to continue our efforts to send her back to Washington. Sign up for another Thursday shift!
Remember: Phonebanks go from 6-8 and are hosted by a member of Team Underwood. We're targeting 50 calls per person but please make however many you can (you can always make more!) - and you can hop off the call whenever you want. Host will provide training if needed and answer any questions about the script, etc.
Can't make Thursdays?Join Indivisible Chicago's Tuesday Underwood phonebanks OR make callson your own.
Indivisible Evanston has distributed over 150,000 postcards to MI and WI and is now distributing postcards to TX and SC! Now is the time to write your postcards! Sign up for one of our weekly Monday night Zoom Postcards parties to get them done with other IE volunteers. Join us!
NOTE: Postcards are to be mailed on October 21 or 26 (depending on the state you are doing), not before and not after. If you want to return the completed and stamps cards to us for mailing in Wisconsin and Michigan, they must be returned to us no later than October 19. Thank you!
We have packets of 100 cards and materials available for pick up seven days a week at three locations in Evanston (while supplies last). Sign up today to get cards before they are gone! MORE INFORMATION AND SIGN UP HERE
Volunteer with the Wisconsin Voter Protection Team!
Wisconsin is often referred to as the breaking point state—as goes Wisconsin, so goes the country. That means that Voter Protection is more important than ever. Every vote is critical, every voter should have their vote count, and every voter we can help make their voice heard brings us one step closer to taking our country back. Check out the different types of volunteering opportunities we offer and see which ones sound right for you, whether you live in Wisconsin or not!
JOIN TEAM CASTEN FOR PHONE BANKING TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS!
We're calling folks to check in to see how they are doing, and if they will support Casten this November. We worked hard for these seats in 2018, and we'll need to work even harder to keep them for 2020!
In the coming weeks, we'll all be getting more involved with taking action with the Biden/Harris campaign. Check out our blog for many ideas and lots of information about how we can all do our part to help them win on November 3rd!
Help us gain a Senate Seatin Iowa! Theresa Greenfield (D) vs Joni Ernst (R)
Winning a Senate majority is more important than ever and our Midwest campaign now includes phone banks for Iowa Senate candidate Theresa Greenfield. She's in a toss-up race with incumbent Republican Joni Ernst and it's a seat we CAN flip--if we do the work. We're using Thru-talk so if you've used a dialer before this phone bank will be a breeze. Sign up here.
Registering to vote has never been easier or more convenient. We have created a resouce that you can access on our website blog with all the details about making sure you are registered and have a plan to vote. We have included deadlines for things like registration (in person and online), requesting and returning your mail in ballot, ballot drop boxes, dates for early voting, election day information and more.

Indivisible Evanston Mission Statement
The mission of Indivisible Evanston is to resist Donald Trump, his administration, and like-minded Members of Congress, and to remove them all from office on November 3, 2020, before they replace our democracy with an authoritarian plutocracy. We do not expect our members or allies to agree on all issues, but we invite those who agree that the Trump presidency is harming our country to work together to replace him and his GOP enablers. We seek to be as inclusive and diverse as possible, and we are committed to non-violence in all our actions.
