Governor Ducey issued an executive order that has very important and positive pieces for our industry, EO-2020-12 (Attached).
Minutes ago, Governor Ducey just issued an executive order and it is generally positive for our industry. It reiterates that individuals should avoid gatherings of 10 or more and use drive-thru pickup or delivery options at restaurants and bars to slow the spread of the disease. It forbids counties and cities or towns for making any order or rule or regulation that restricts or prohibits any person performing duties that are deemed essential by the Governor or ADHS or the states' Emergency Management Division. He broadly outlines the industries that are essential. Included in these industries are food and beverage producers.
Coupled with the affirmation of drive up and pick up dining, federal mandates defining breweries as part of the food and beverage industry, and that those industries are deemed essential by the federal government, Camila Alarcon, our counsel has advised that we are on solid ground to continue operating as we have in these past few days.
Please show solidarity and continue to be community leaders during this challenging time.
