In the spirit of the thanks-giving spirit, I am grateful for YOU.
Thank you so much for continuing to support me.
I'm taking your generosity and channeling it into hard work.
It is my desire to deserve people like you in my life. I feel so thankful.
This photo was taken immediately after sunset, right next to Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach, Florida.
There's no editing on this one at all - not the light or the color; it was such a lovely, natural twilight.
My feet were on the sand - and in the ocean - in November!! How blessed am I?!
There's only a couple of weeks left of this incredibly smooth semester. I'm pulling off solid straight A's.
Huge thank you to everyone who has been supporting that journey at https://gofundme.com/nexjuice1
- you're helping my dream come true.
This entire last week I had no assignments due and was able to get ahead - and to focus on the live-streaming business.
Since my last email, I've done my first - and second - 24+ hour livestreams!
I recently got a cool widget that links the support on Twitch and Streamlabs to a timer that instantly adds more time to the stream every time someone supports. I love it so much! It's such a fun tool.
I've been investing some good time every week to studying the biggest, most successful streamers I see on Twitch and taking notes.
I'm really enjoying Among Us and that entire community. Fortnite is still fun, but Among Us is special to me.
It's like the virtual version of the game Mafia - did you ever play that growing up?
I loved Mafia so much as a kid/teen, and now it's paying off, haha!!
Check out some of my favorite Among Us streamers:
In other news, I'm currently training to become a CASA - court-appointed special advocate. This is a volunteer position where I'll be assigned a case regarding a child who was removed from their home due to abuse or neglect. It will be my role to meet with the child/children regularly and then to appear in court on their behalf. I'm basically an extra set of eyes/ears/brain for the court. I'm really looking forward to making a difference in these kids' lives. I think it has the potential to give me connections for future business opportunities when I become a licensed counselor.
I'm really loving the book I'm reading right now, "The Voice of Reason" by Ayn Rand. It's deeply thought-provoking, I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It's a compilation of different essays she wrote addressing different subjects from the biggest world problems to the putting of man on the moon. Every time I read her, I feel compelled to think harder. I become aware of my responsibility as an intelligent person to push my mind to increasingly objective logic and reason.
It's important to acknowledge truth and to reveal deception. Stay tuned for the book review on this one next month, I'm really looking forward to that one!
Here are the reviews of the two books I read this past month: Brain Sex: The Real Difference Between Men & Women
and The End of Average
. I sent my big book reviews email, too. If you didn't get it, let me know and I'll send you the direct link.
If my messages are getting lost in your Promotions folder, be sure to add me to your email contacts.
See you in the new year! Remember, this year's theme has been calm energy. Keep it up.
